So, it's not good, I know. I'll probably redraw it, sometime. But it's been a year and a half, and you guys need to see an update. But here's my stab at traditional art. Crayola colored pencils, mind you. Still experimenting, but will get better. Oh, and the scanner must be trying to be smart, because it cropped my scanned picture right to the lineart of Mae's hand, so the awkward one in the air is a bit cut off.
Um, about the design. The only changes is that I made it a dress. The belt is still supposed to be red, but I forgot about that while linearting. Another reason to redo!
Made with paper, pencil, Sakura Pigma Micron pen, Crayola colored pencils. Touched up with Photoshop (because it's hard to color pure black and I can't color in the lines apparently)

Fabulous work. She looks stunning
Woah! What is this? Art? Amazing!xD It's GREAT to see Mae again! She was gone too long. How did you make it look so good with Crayola pencils? Mae looks stunning here! I love the new design. She looks much witch-ier now. I am excited to see more!
OMGosh, I know, I must have some magical spell on me. I've just posted art. XD She'll be here to stay! Oh, thank you! Crayola pencils are so hard, but it's a challenge. I pretty much had to layer black on top of black on top of black on top of gray. That's pretty much it. Even that makes it look gray. Well, I changed it to a dress instead of a two-piece thingy, because she's based on me, and I would never show my tummy. XD More will come!
I like this magical spell. So many layerssss...your poor hand! How does it survive?xD Never show your tummy? How about with swimming suits? I do like 1-piece suits(swimmer speaking here) but I also like tanning my stomach in the summer.c:
I like it, too! XD Eh, I colored light for most of it, then just hard for "shadowing", whatever shadow that showed up in the scan. Well, I'm self conscious, and I have a little fat. XD I mean, I'm not big, but I don't have a flat tummy. For swimming, I've always worn a one-piece, or a tankani two piece, like what Mae had for the swimsuit round. I don't swim very much anyways. Eh, where I live there's not much sun, and the beach I go to doesn't get much sun and I'm not a tanning person. And it's not like I'm showing off my tan on my stomach at school. XD
I know very few people that have "flat stomachs". Honestly, I think I personally have a little tiny muffin top!x) I like tanning myself so I don't look so pale to myself. Plus I find it fascinating that my skin can be all brown, and then suddenly a line of white, pale skin!xD Eh, but that is just personal preference I guess.
Her pose is really good :]
